A track for Naviar Records Haiku Challenge. The line 'Inhaling and exhaling' gave me the idea of having something with a lots of space, almost room to breath. The first section hopefully has that sense of inhaling and exhaling where the music comes in and out.

Inspired by a memory of harvesting sedge for thatched roofs. Swinging the scythe is fun, listening to the warbler birds and watching for small lizards and other wildlife. It becomes hard work and then the sharp edges of the long dry grassy leaves cut your fingers to ribbons. It is a rewarding and 'real' feeling to carry the bundles away from the fen bank by small boat.
