Description: This was my final project for Composition at PCAE. Performed by Minneapolis based Zeitgeist ensemble. It was so awesome to get the oh so rare opportunity to have a written work performed by professional musicians.

I've never been one to learn from studying music theory, and so my ears have been my teacher. I hear professional arrangements and melodies in this piece, but since the music has no context (film, game, etc) it sounds like a few different compositional ideas in one. At 1:10 is where it picks up and if I was composing this piece, it would turn into a crazy rythmic piece with instruments going in and out all over the place and turn into something epic. But you instead slow down into something that sounds nice by itself, but I wouldn't agree with this transition unless you created it for a specific context other than to be listened to. Overall the musical ideas sound great and professional (sounds film-esque), but I don't understand the transitions.
