The Source is best described as an after-dinner-mint, if you will, which unveils a completely different dimension of Tiger County Regulators and reveals a sort of sophistication and depth to the band expressing the other levels they possess rather than "crank it all the way up".  The bass player, Danny Rhodes, shows his musicianship adding the supporting piano to this track along with their soul brother, Tim Fash, appropriately laying low where necessary and peaking at all the right moments canvassing the song with the Saxophone.

Joyful Display Blues is a slow-burning, midnight-porch blues-folk song that turns ancient Lotus Sūtra insight into raw, human sound. Finger-picked guitar and a low harmonica drone carry lyrics about bodhisattvas rising from the earth, the Buddha’s cosmic display of light, and the vow to transform anger, isolation, and attachment into courage, compassion, and wisdom. Lantern-warm tones and indigo sky textures give the music a mystical yet earthy feel. “Take Over started by me writing the backing track after hearing Jake James’ Album. I new I wanted to work with him, his voice and lyrics are crazy, and the way that guy writes melodies is something else” 

WYLD had been writing while going through some rough times. Take Over’ is a great reminder to him and now others about what faith means. 

“It’s all about who you are in God, letting God take over situations and being okay with that. As humans we love to be in control so trusting in something that you can’t see isn’t easy but is always worth it”.
