The recording is a blend of warm sounds -  mostly a fusion of jazz with other genres, touched by a dose of psychedelia and carried by the free spirit of the 1970s.

Bataille says: “Many of the tracks come from records I found while digging through crates in local shops - places like Vary in Leipzig, Discos Paradiso in Barcelona and second-hand stores. The music in this mix reflects my personal influences. Percussion, guitars, and synthesizers take the lead, shaping an atmosphere that feels nocturnal, loose and close.”

Fernando Gimeno, also known as Bataille, is an artist working with photography, sound and video. He is currently based in Valencia.
