Vagrant Real Estate is a producer and DJ from Aberdeen, Scotland. Backed by the likes of Ministry of Sound, DJ Mag, i-D Magazine, SB:TV, the BBC and the SAMAs / SAY Award, VRE combines hard hitting drums and programming with his ear for melody and soul to put his spin on a range of styles, from classic Boom Bap and UK Garage to Grime and UK Drill, working with a wide array of artists including Remtrex, Nolay, Teks Sinatra, Ransom Fa, Skirmish of Rhyme Asylum, namesbliss and many more.

In 2019 he released his sophomore instrumental album SWEETHEARTGRIPS to rave reviews, with premiere support from BBC Radio and front page coverage in Aberdeen's Press & Journal newspaper, receiving several nominations for the SAY Award Longlist. 

2020 saw a number of singles and collaborations both locally and further afield, and he closed out the year with the socially-charged Glass Half Full album for Buffalo NY artist Y.N.X. 716, produced entirely remotely through lockdown. Named as one of Vic Galloway's (BBC Radio Scotland) Top 25 Artists To Watch, 2021 was another stellar year for Vagrant Real Estate, producing for artists such as Gatson from Illinois and top Scottish MCs Bemz & McRoy, as well as racking up 100,000 Spotify streams on the acclaimed single “Rubicon Lychee” with Namesbliss. 

Recently announced as a recipient of the Do It Differently grant from Help Musicians UK, reserved for assisting rising artists to reach new heights in their career, VRE shows no signs of slowing down in 2022.
