World re-known old-school group The Kopyright Liberation Front (The KLF) played a vital role in the acid house movement of the late 80’s and 90’s in Britain. Their originality made all their tracks instant international hits. The infamous, genre-defining hit 3AM Eternal remained #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #5 on Billboard's Hot 100 both in the USA and abroad. Because of 3AM Eternal, The KLF effortlessly broke all selling records in their time. 
Serge Devant's remake resurrects 3AM Eternal with his pure elements and energy, while successfully capturing the aura of its time. The track builds intensity through its huge anthem breakdown, which showcases KLF’s vocals and delivers us into pure 80’s bliss with a twist. 
Serge says about this track: 
“I kept the best part of the song, which is the break of the track with female vocal singing "KLF" and catchy dial tones that are very recognizable. I was a big fan of this track when I was a kid so bringing it back to current times and giving it life one more time is something really special to me. I hope it will partially repeat its success and bring back memories of those who grew up listening to this track.”

Italo-German Vincenzo returns to Anjunadeep with “Just Like Heaven”, the first single taken from his forthcoming fourth artist album “The Vanishing Years”. Having built his reputation over nearly two decades with timeless releases on iconic labels like Steve Bug’s Dessous and Anjunadeep itself, the album is shaping up to be an excellent reminder of Vincenzo’s impressive talent and longevity.

“Just Like Heaven” might be instantly recognisable to some as a cover of The Cure’s celebrated 1987 single. Vincenzo teams up once again with vocalist Minako Sasajima, who adds a delicate soul to Robert Smith’s romantic lyrics, which glide above a floating bass groove and falling synths. Full of emotion and colour, “Just Like Heaven” sees Vincenzo at the top of his game.

The first of two exciting remixes comes from another veteran of the German scene, Dave DK. A former resident at the legendary Panorama Bar, Dave’s recent releases on the excellent Pampa Records and Kompakt have been met with widespread acclaim, and he delivers another beauty here. Twisting the vocal almost beyond recognition, and layering it with dark melodies and left-field textures, Dave creates a memorable piece of atmospheric techno.

Swedish rising star HNNY is another artist on a hot streak thanks to recent EPs on Local Talk and Permanent Vacation. Taking an altogether different approach to Dave DK, HNNY’s remix is a raw and quirky slice of melodic house music, driven along by infectious bass stabs and twinkling melodies.

As the world waits with baited breath for a follow-up to ƒin – a record that looks more and more like a modern classic by the day – we get a clutch of remixes trailing Talabot’s DJ-Kicks release instead; a holdover from the holdover, if you will. Thankfully “Without You” was a mighty fine standalone when teased out in late 2013, demonstrating Talabot’s gradual crossfade from nu disco into more shiver-inducing and (whisper it) trance-like territory, and the track is gifted a fresh lease of life on this !K7 12”.

Minimal maestro Thomas Melchior, riding high off his superb recent Perlon EP, spins the original out for nearly 10 minutes, but it’s Oskar Offermann who does the real business here. Abetted by sonar blips and rolling drums that form a techy counterpoint to the emotional nakedness of the original, Offerman sinks the original’s glistening guitar and softtone pads, allowing mere fragments to bubble to the surface now and again. A remix of surprising heft and replayability.
