On the occasion of our upcoming 5th anniversary, we present you a series of sets from our dear residents.

First up for ∄ 5th Anniversary Countdown is a vinyl techno set by Vitalii Shevchenko. Here, the artist reveals the lighter side of this genre, while remaining true to his unique style. 

Since starting his career in 2013, Vitalii has been a driving force in Kyiv’s underground scene and has been featured on labels like Krill Music, OBSCURA, Rudiment, SREZ, and VORTEX. His meticulousness and attention to detail make his music sophisticated. Meanwhile, the complexity of the resident's sound is the result of his sincere devotion to vinyl digging.

∄ 5TH ANNIVERSARY COUNTDOWN: VITALII SHEVCHENKO

One of the first reasons why we started this project was to be a platform for people who wants to express themselves through different types of arts and, of course, to help the community that needs it most while supporting our culture.

We heard the news about the oppression in the Georgian Country and the support of the club culture to this cause in the streets back in December 2024 so we thought it was a good moment to help them in some mood.

As we usually make a charity release per year for a different cause since the Ukrainian conflict, one way to edit the music that comes to us from different producers is to make an annual solidarity compilation with the tracks that we liked the most.
We want to thank to everyone involved on this work.

YØSUA is a young DJ and producer exploring the edges of techno, hard groove, trance, and hard house. His sound is driven by raw drums, sharp percussion, and punchy basslines, with hypnotic melodies that build rhythmic intensity. As part of the Franziskaner Club — a collective based in Poznań, Poland — he draws on 90s hip-hop and modern rave influences to craft dance floor-focused sets full of energy and grit.

This mix showcases a faster, more intense direction in YØSUA’s sound. Expect heavy basslines, sharp percussion, and vocals that cut through, all tied together with catchy leads that keep the momentum high and the vibe engaging from start to finish.
