Thank you all for great feedback on this mix, have just hit the 100 download mark a 1st for me, glad you all like it so much. Will publish the tracklist soon, a habit i should get into but sometimes i just ix off the cuff.

This mix was inspired by the book Narcopolis by Jeet Thayil.
The idea was to create a mix that was based around Indian influenced tunes which carries a smooth narcotic otherness about it.
The book is based in 70's Bombay (Mumbai) and deals with the lives of a group of diverse characters that frequent an opium den.

Thanks every one for the massive amount of interest in this mix, it was a mix that i had a very concise idea of how i wanted the mix to feel.

Opening set of the urban festival “Psychometric PicNic 2015” at the mighty Saint Luke’s Bombed Out Church in Liverpool, UK. This enchanted Gothic Church was badly damaged during the Liverpool Blitz in 1941 and it remains as a roofless shell, standing as a memorial to those who were lost in the Second World War... Aquascape project was created in 2004 by two Moscow musicians Andrey Kostomarov and Anton Salikov.

Having years of experience in live underground music, they felt necessary to bring their inner imagination and creativity to the vast fields of intelligent electronic music. Being primary studio project, colleagues intensified into infinity of sound design and deep, multifaceted and emotionally rich melodies, due to what their music is often being applied in scientific and naturalistic films.

In 2008 Aquascape has been enriched by Valery Gorick- musician from Sochi, which brought some elements of classical melodics into the Aqua-sound, and amazing vocalist Anastasia Migova from Moscow.

After such reinforcement, the project has risen to new quality level.

It was originally released on their fourth album, Road to Ruin, in September 1978 and was the b-side of the UK single "She's the One" released on January 10, 1979. One of my favorite songs by The Ramones, love it.
