This set is an iteration on a set I played for Eagles Nest Ecstatic Dance March 8th, International Women's day. I've poured hours into curating this set to celebrate Slavic women and to use this as a platform for raising funds that support the people of Ukraine.

I'm so deeply grateful for all of the women in my life, especially my mom who brought me to the US when I was young. It's thanks to her that I don't need to physically be a part of what's going on.

A Memorial for Actual Rafiq

This was a super special and magical Cacao Ceremony & Ecstatic Dance at our home @forgotten_land in Arambol, Goa. 🤍

We gathered together to dance, enjoy and celebrate as One. We commited to untaming ourselves, inch by inch, layer by layer, connecting with our wild and innate truth. 

Flute Wizard @subhash_prem_giri graced us with his presence, intuitively jamming alongside us with his wizardly flute skills. 

Handpan extraordinaire @davideswarup lullabied us into a deep meditative state during the closing circle, sprinkling his magical and calming essence as always. 

Our fairy @shaktimegs held us in a sweet ceremonial space, opening us up with mama Cacao and adding her live vocals throughout the experience.

This Untamed felt super special as it also signified my rebirth ~ stepping into ‘Kaylani’ ~ Heavens of the Oceans and Skies. 

Endless amounts of love for the beautiful souls who danced with us on this special day and for the vulnerability, connection, warmth and sweetness. 

I feel deeply honoured to be apart of this special event and to be able to give back to the Arambol community. A community that has given us so much. Thank you for being part of this co creation 💖

Inspired by challenging true life events and the resilience of the human spirit, "NIA" serves as an ode to the part within each of us that finds the inner strength to rise above struggles and embrace the exhilaration that lies beyond.

Live recording from Charleston Ecstatic Dance on 11/10/2023 in celebration of my dear long time friend Shellie White Light. Special thanks to Mark for hosting me while I was in town, and to Alex for scheduling me synchronistically on Shellie's 30th bday. :D

I often preplan my sets, however, this one was improvised on the spot and weaved in several of my favorite ecstatic dance tracks to create a fun and playful wave.

EMILY EMBER is a dancer,  DJ, vocalist and budding music producer/ritual artist known as ‘Spring Jaiah’

Growing up in the bushland of tropical far north-eastern Australia, she spent her twenties travelling the world in pursuit of body-mind healing which revealed the power of practice on intentional dance floors and music can have on community. Since her first event in the area as far back as 2015, in 2021 she founded Ecstatic Dance Cairns, bringing diverse flavours and global rhythms to men and women, through full bodied emotional and danceable journeys moving the FNQ region ever since. She is also a somatic-psychology/BA Psych/Couns student, shamanic practitioner and servant of creating and facilitating safe spaces for self and community transformation.

Some of her music flavours explored in 2025 include afro beats, world, global bass, drum and bass/jungle, melodic & ethnic house plus many more… in effort of fusing sounds from all across the world, from the Africas to the Andes, Bristol to Berlin and beyond in cathartic ritual ecstasy.

Everything Emily does is to serve re-connection of earth-wisdom and sacred remembrance.
