Poseidon Ocean, inspired by the Greek God, delves into the enigmatic and intense D Super Locrian mode. Known for its sharp dissonances and unconventional intervals, this mode brings an edge of unpredictability and profound depth to the composition, mirroring the raw and untamed power of the ocean.

Built through improvisation, the track combines turbulent rhythms with swirling melodic lines, evoking the surging waves and endless depths of the ocean. The interplay between the instruments creates a soundscape that is both vast and intimate, capturing the duality of the ocean’s tranquil surface and its chaotic undercurrents.

Oh God cried Ian, as he fell to his knees
This was all an accident and I’m begging Lord please

Old Natty Mac Bride was having a fine day
Til’ she found her son’s body and the two parts of his head
And  when she caught a glimpse of  Ian running on the hill
She made a vow of revenge and decided to kill

Natty McBride, full of rage and confusion
Ran to the next house with a knife in her hand
And the young girl that was unfortunate enough to live there
Ended up her poor life nailed at the top of the stairs

Revenge breeds revenge and it’s as blind as it gets
But not as blind as Natty, who was as blind as a bat
The house that she attacked was not Ian’s at all
And the price of her error was soon to befall.

Old Natty was first, and the  others fell fast,
It’s quite amusing to me that Ian stood last
And his demise was the end of the town of Turnstead
As there was no one left to bury the dead

	•	Grounded “float”: Place one hand on belly, one on chest; feel the hands rise and fall like waves.
