I alternate my shows between digging through vinyl classics (pre-2008) of my vast collection and playing more modern tunes from my digital decks. Either way, it'll always be high quality, no-nonsense, Drum & Bass!

For this edition I wanted to go for more techy rollers, and ended up playing 2 hours and 45 minutes, as the next show was cancelled. In this vinyl edition I felt like playing more heavy rolling techy tunes as I did two weeks ago, but this time from vinyls. I ended up playing all the Vicious Circle vinyls I have as well as some Universal Project tracks that I hadn't played for a while, plus several things that fit this kind of theme. A typical rough edged, Renegade Hardware style, no nonsense DnB set taking tunes from anywhere 2000~2008. I enjoyed the mix, and I hope you will too!

It had been quite a while since I had played an atmos set on my show, so for this edition I wanted to show my love for the Looking Good label, (almost) chronologically playing the early releases, for as far as I have them, spanning '95-'99. I can't believe this music is 25 years old or more, it's still beautiful! I'm mixing the tunes slowly at only 19 tunes in two hours, so they can be fully enjoyed and appreciated.

I felt like playing some more break-heavy tracks for this vinyl shows, so what could be better than a Breakage special? I mostly have his early releases as I liked his earlier (slightly harder/darker) sound a lot. I didn't have enough for a full two hour set so I added a few other break heavy tracks that fit the theme, but at 19 out of 29 tunes being Breakage, that's a decent bit at 65.5%! I hope you'll enjoy this recording as the people did in the chatroom that night - definitely one of my more Jungletrain-friendly editions :-)

This show was a bit of a random traversal of older and newer tunes that I played digitally, but hadn't played for a long time. Internationally acclaimed producer and electronic music artist Chook is proud to announce the release of his latest remix, ‘You Are All You Have’, featuring Luxembourg’s singer-songwriter Claudine Muno. This remix, blending deep, atmospheric beats with Chook’s signature electronic edge, will be released on his brand-new label, Sound of Time.

Known for his past role as the head of Full Force Recordings, Chook’s influence in the electronic and Drum & Bass scenes is undisputed. With this remix, he returns to showcase his forward-thinking approach to production. Chook expertly fuses Claudine Muno’s heartfelt vocals with energetic basslines and progressive house rhythms, bringing a fresh dancefloor dimension to the original.

The track is part of a larger creative collaboration with Muno, with whom Chook previously worked on the genre-blending project Monophona. Their unique chemistry is evident as the remix builds on Muno’s acoustic and folk roots while incorporating Chook’s sophisticated soundscapes.
