Jackies Virtual Music Fest #001 - Natasha Kitty Katt

The Black Light Disco show which aired on New York's MyHouse Radio on Monday 23rd Nov 2020 was a Thanksgiving Special of epic proportions. 

All the BLD residents converged on BLD Towers to add their bits to an overall two hours of musical excellence. This is the first time all the residents have performed together on the show, and given how well it went down with the chat box, it won't be the last!

On Monday's Black Light Disco Show we changed the mood lighting in BLD Towers to 'ambient', opened a bottle of our favourite Red and let the smooth grooves wash over us for the whole two hours.

On resident duties was Goz, who took the steering wheel for the first hour and drove us through a laid-back, perfectly pitched set that prepared the ground for our very, very special guest, Touchsoul aka Adrian Dickinson.

Adrian has been responsible for producing some of the most delicious, timeless and distinct reworks over the last few years. He vibe is so unique, his production skills so on point you can't help but fall under his spell. This set for BLD shows what he's all about; distinctively melodic, moving and assured. This, my friends is not to be missed.

The Black Light Disco Show airing on My House Radio on 7th December 2020 was a super tag-team event joining the Disco Houses of BLD and Discoholics Anonymous. On hosting duties in the 'Four to the Floor' Observatory atop BLD Towers was Esteban (aka Ste Hendry), who had been polishing the silverware and scrubbing the skirting boards all afternoon for the arrival of a very, very special guest - the one and only Discoholic Ken Avalon!

We're honoured and privileged to be able to call Ken a friend of the show and we’re huge admirers of what he’s doing with his own unstoppable juggernaut, Discoholics Anonymous.  Ken has been a very busy bee in 2020,  founding Discoholics Anonymous Recordings in the summer of 2020, landing a weekly Friday radio show on Prime Radio (the excellent Hot To The Touch) where he and his co-pilot, the supremely talented Martin Petersson showcase the very best of the disco scene and hold court to a very captive audience (yours truly included!)
