My new track ‘Poison Waterfalls’. A dreamy folk track that I made myself with my acoustic guitar, an 80s keyboard and a drum track from online. If you have been following my releases lately, you may have noticed that my productions have been a lot softer. This hasn’t been a conscious decision; I have just noticed it recently and I think it’s interesting how creativity evolves over time. I think I am just a bit more confident in my melody writing and don’t feel the need to hide it under more intricate production. This song is particularly soft in its soundscape (aside from the drums in the final chorus). I wanted a nostalgic feel and theme with the track which I hopefully achieved. I also made a video for the track featuring vintage home footage which definitely adds to the themes so give that a watch too! It’s on my YouTube channel (Rosa Lavenne). Let me know what you think!
