The unforgettable scent, memories, and atmosphere of that summer.

In one corner of our summer, memories that tickle our armpits through the scary sunlight are everywhere.

The cool breeze that occasionally approaches while walking in the sweltering heat, the grateful shade from the lush trees,
The childhood days of napping on my mother's lap while being fanned by an electric fan,
Memories of summer nights that seemed like they would never end.

We grow and live through another season through memories of that corner of summer.

This single album was composed in the hope that listeners would settle into a corner of summer,
and be immersed in their own stories and nostalgia in their tiring daily lives.

I am sitting in a corner of summer.

Summer in the pond, eating a spoonful
Fish wagging their tails
Ditch waters stretched out like long clotheslines
Following the path the wind passes
Big raindrops hitting the cabin when I woke up from a nap
Like a red watermelon splitting before the tip of a knife could even touch
A voice calling me, cutting through the hot air
A night looking at stars embedded like corn kernels
Your back was cool even without air conditioning
I'm sitting leaning on the back of that summer that you gave me.

잊지 못할 그 여름의 향기, 추억, 분위기.

우리의 여름 한 켠에는 무서운 햇빛 사이로
겨드랑이를 살랑살랑 간지럽히듯 하는 추억들이 곳곳에 스며들어있다.
무더위 속을 거닐며 종종 다가오는 시원한 바람, 우거진 나무들이 주는 고마운 그늘,
선풍기를 쐬며 엄마 무릎에 누워 낮잠을 자던 그 어린 시절,
무더운 날이 끝나지 않을 것 같은 여름 밤의 추억들.

우리는 여름 한 켠의 추억을 통해 성장하고 또 한 계절을 살아간다.

이번 싱글 앨범은 음악을 들을 청자들의 여름 한 켠에 자리 잡아
지친 일상 속 저마다의 이야기와 향수에 젖어 들 수 있기를 바라며 작곡했다.

여름 한 켠에 앉아 있습니다.

연못에 잠긴 여름 한 스푼 떠먹으며
꼬리를 흔들던 물고기들
바람이 지나가는 길 따라
긴 빨랫줄처럼 이어진 도랑물들
낮잠에서 깨어나면 오두막을 때리던 굵은 빗방울들
칼끝이 닿기도 전에 갈라지던 붉은 수박처럼
더운 공기를 가르며 날 부르던 목소리
옥수수 알처럼 박힌 별을 보던 밤
에어컨 없이도 시원했던 당신의 등
당신이 주신 

그 여름의 등에 기대어 앉아 있습니다.
