Matteo Diop is a DJ originally from Brittany, now based in Paris. His love of music has its roots in his childhood, when he was cradled by the vinyl collection of his father, himself a DJ. 

It was this early influence that fuelled his passion and led him to explore genres such as house, techno, funk, hip-hop and much more.
Inspired by Afro-American influences, his house-oriented music is renowned for its irresistible groove and the emotions it arouses.

He knows how to create spellbinding atmospheres thanks to a selection of cutting-edge music, whether played on vinyl or digital. This ability to juggle different genres and formats is one of the reasons why Mattéo Diop stands out as a versatile artist.

ORIGINALLY FROM AUSTRALIA’S MORNINGTON PENINSULA, TONES AND I JOURNEYED TO BYRON BAY IN EARLY 2018 TO TAKE A CHANCE AT BUSKING. ON THE FIRST DAY SHE HAD CROWDS SPILLING ONTO THE STREET. TONES QUIT HER RETAIL JOB AND DECIDED TO MAKE BYRON HER NEW HOME WHERE SHE LIVED OUT OF HER VAN FOR THE YEAR.

TONES IS HAVING A MASSIVE BREAKOUT YEAR THAT STARTED WITH HER DEBUT SINGLE ‘JOHNNY RUN AWAY’ RELEASING IN MARCH.
