We love House music!

We are open to everything in house with no specific attachments to sub-genres, a great record is a great record and we'll do our best to share it!

Rawsum was established in 2014 and is based in Melbourne Australia.

We’re a community of labels, collectives, bloggers and lots more… in short, open-minded, creative people with a passion for music.

We want to help promote music that we genuinely believe in, and that’s why we decided to create a membership-only platform to give exposure to talented artists. But it’s not just about that – it’s also about building a community of like-minded people  and opening the door for collaborations, opportunities and friendships.

To achieve that, we have set a broadcasting space, where we stream live through our website the sounds that identify our members, uploading all content to our youtube and soundcloud channels; we have as set a record label , releasing digital and physical material, where we showcase and release talented producers from all over the world with the aim to expose and bring a new groove into the scene mixing a range of genres and rhythms. And last – but by no means least collaborating every month with all members in our events at the Total Refreshment Centre with our events and BBQ’s in summer at the outdoors space.

There are several reasons why we got started – but all of them link back to one: our passion for good music. There’s a lot of good content being produced, and as much as the internet has proved to be a great tool for making it accessible to everyone, it’s also made it harder for the good stuff to get the attention it deserves and reach the right ears. We think music isn’t just a product and consuming it shouldn’t be a competition – rather, we want to encourage people to look deeper, to take an active interest in music. Part of that needs action from the industry itself, and that’s why we want to make it more accesible for musicians, labels, collectives and anyone else involved in the scene to connect and collaborate with each other and to spread the word about the things we believe in.

Tied to disruptive electro sounds and an undeniable preference for groove, his tracks come with a certain grit that cleanses the spirit. His sound is broad and dynamic, being supported and played by the leading figures of the current scene.
