✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome Spanish Techno dj & producer based in Berlin : BEATRICE (Global Offensive Corporation / Room Trax).

Originally from Spain and now based in Berlin, Beatrice is leaving her mark in the world of techno. She discovered her passion for electronic music at the young age of 19 and embarked on a DJing journey that solidified her lifelong commitment to music. 

After the release of her debut vinyl EP, a collaboration with Not A Headliner on Global Offensive Corporation, Beatrice ́s career gained momentum. With regular performances at venues like Berghain and Tresor, and more recently, securing a residency at New York's renowned Basement, she has cemented her status as an emerging talent. 

Beatrice's story is one of passion and dedication, making her one to watch in the future.

"Sound systems are really what move me." The up-and-coming techno artist talks about the physicality of sound and how psychedelics inform his work in the studio.

What makes a good artist? In this RA Exchange, British DJ and producer Andrew Shobeiri, AKA Rene Wise, reflects on being a relatively new name in the scene and considers the success that ultimately comes with time and experience. "There's never a point where you're done," he says.

While Shobeiri is only a few years into his career, the up-and-comer already knows how to draw a crowd. He has finely tuned a highly kinetic and hypnotic techno sound that's brought him legions of fans and bookings on the world's top club and festival lineups. He divulges the ingredients that go into a Rene Wise set, including sound sources from genres beyond the club, like salsa, Iranian radif and the strange orchestration of Steve Reich. He also talks about his experience with psychedelics—which helped lay the groundwork for some of his most formative musical experiences—as well as how sound systems have changed the way he perceives and composes tracks for the dance floor. ✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome Berlin-based DJ & producer : KWARTZ (Pole Group / SK_Eleven).

Kwartz is the stage name of Mario Campos, born in Madrid in 1989 and now based in Berlin.

In late 2011 and after publishing several EP’s in different international labels, Kwartz's productions began to draw the attention of the leading names in the international scene, so in 2013 Exium released a split EP with him called Fenomen, which was his first release on vinyl.

In late 2013 Kwartz joined PoleGroup and became part of the booking roster of the label commanded by Oscar Mulero, where he began to release his works regularly. In addition to PoleGroup, his tracks have appeared in several of the most important international labels, such as 47 (Tommy Four Seven’s label), Mord Records, Semantica, Horo or Warm Up Recordings.

2016 brings the launch of his own label: Order&Devotion, where he will release those of his works which move between dark atmospheres and deep and visceral sounds, all surrounded by rhythms designed for the dance floor.

His sets could be described with three words: raw, mental and groovy, in which he pushes the dancefloor to a constantly state of tension.

Andrew Shobeiri AKA @ReneWise flaunts an artistic flair rare for his years. Possessing an uncanny ability to create a sound that fuses hip-shaking grooves with a raw but modern touch, Wise breeds a deep sense of knowledge and maturity beyond what you'd expect for an artist of his age. His ear for infectious rhythm derives from a love of classic 90’s era techno, always being drawn to the relentless energy felt in the faster tempos. These influences can be heard throughout his productions and selections as a DJ, winning him a growing fanbase of peers and music lovers alike.

∄ is a cultural institution in Kyiv, established in 2019 on the territory of a former brewery, located at 41 Kyrylivska Street. It serves as a multifunctional space for club events like ∄ Community Events, Curated By, Enareї, for experimental music concerts like Miasma of the Real and other cultural events.

∄ also manages the in-house music label Standard Deviation. Established in September 2020, Standard Deviation is a multidisciplinary label for music, art and publishing, cultivating creative exchange between an aspiring Ukrainian scene and a global community.

K41 is the community-born name of the institution embraced and widely used by the public.
