We close out the week with a Guest Mix featuring American born-and-bred DJ/producer Zeplin.

Classically trained at the prestigious Pennsylvania Ballet and Pennsylvania School of the Performing arts, Kristin showed an early passion for performing. From a young age Kristin studied alongside world-renowned Broadway dancers, actors and musicians. She attended the Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC and received a BFA in Musical Theatre from the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts. While in NYC she stumbled upon a new love, DJing.

Originally inspired by the early sounds of Enrico Sangiuliano in 2013, Kristin began working on her original productions. From 2013-2017 Kristen immersed herself in learning and perfecting the craft, honing in her skills for producing the darker, driving soundscapes of techno.

Zeplin's DJ sets, as this Guest Mix showcases, follow in the same footsteps, focusing on driving, peak-time techno.

Madrid’s hardware wizard Akenaton returns home with this five tracker.

Solid arpeggiated bass lines are the core element in the first cut Collecting Your Acts. Melancholic voice sounds and washes float over a shuffled beat for the rest of the components. Spacey and hypnotic.

Essence And Existence goes funkier, with a 909 tom groove filled with synth noises and bleeps. Deep and profound.

Survive is a classic sci fi techno exercise, with pulsating sounds, asymmetric lines and components crossing paths along the arrangement.

Secret Shadows continues in the same vein, classic grooves, bleeps and synthetic textures moving constantly over the timeline.

Through Your Eyes closes the release again in a timeless vibe, pure synthetic tones, solid rhythms and an exquisite development.

Chris Gioria finds his place in the hypnotic techno world, even though he doesn’t	 want to reduce his music to a defined style. The Swiss techno producer started out as a DJ after he got heavily inspired by the electronic music scene. Creating his own music is the best way for him to express himself. This podcast represents his style of music quite well, featuring a lot of his unreleased tracks he will take you on a hypnotic and driving trip.

Based in Stuttgart he has won the hearts of the crowd since 1994 and still has big goals, the first releases are published and are played by many colleagues. Luke lives and loves music, and wants to share with the Crowd. He is, among others resident DJ at Club Lehmann in Stuttgart and the Decadance series in Ulm
