After the success of "All Night Brotherhood", Art Of Tones is back with a brand new EP on his own PALP imprint.
"Crazay" is the main track here, where Art Of Tones delivers once again his unique sound signature. Evolving around a funky bassline and classy guitar licks, and with its familiar, soulful vocal snippets, the track has an usual, slightly aggressive colour that makes it sound truly different from the usual disco tunes heard here and there.

Promo blurb by Fat Harry: S Strong & Boogie Belgique get all flappy on our asses and all swingy on our balls. This tune was the B-Side to Balloo’s ‘Bear Necessites’ and follows on the story of the prickly pear, which turned out to be a peyote cactus. Feel the disturbing darkness build as Baloo’s trip turns a little sour as he slowly realises he’s a bear, he can sing and talk, he is alone and his massive cartoon paws are in fact massive cartoon paws. Mercifully the tune ends before he can viciously turn on Mowgli, his cartoon handlers are able to feed him more ketamine ants (you’re gonna love the way they tickle) to allow him to get through the scene with the dancing bananas and the singing monkeys. Phew!

The second edition of the Rose Records limited 10" series comes courtesy of Junktion, whose releases on the likes of Outplay and Slow Town didn't only sell out at breakneck speed but also established him as one of Holland's biggest talents in discerning deephouse/disco circles.

Junktion does what he does best on this delightful little platter. The lolloping 'Running for Whatever' on the A is as infectious as they come, with loads of clever samples arranged over classy rolling drums and a deep, rubbery bassline. Flip over for Pale Blue Dot, a slightly tougher, trippier uptempo workout with spaced out pads, big drums, crisp hats and massive synth stabs that should whip up a real frenzy in a packed club. Killer pair of tunes from a producer that's very much on top of his game.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I knew two things when I heard the original song by Leon Sweet; 1. this tunes is huge. 2. I would love to get my mitts on the parts and remix it. 

So it has come to fruition. I'm thrilled to be on this release alongside the inimitable original and a troika of remixes from UK artists, Leftside Wobble, Peza, Fingerman on the ever-reliable home of deep (not derp) house, Paper Recordings.

Up next on Crosstown Rebels’ sub-label Rebellion is Georgia-born Stimmhalt. Dreams his debut release with the label, features alongside an entrancing remix from esteemed producer and composer Pezzner.
 
A vast array of digital and vinyl releases under his belt, Stimmhalt AKA David Gvaberidze makes a fine addition to the Rebellion roster. Dreams provides an excellent demonstration of his ability to combine the hard-hitting basslines with uplifting chords, an ideal early hours soundtrack. On the remix, Pezzner has bought his exceptional composition skills to the table to create a bouncy acompaniament to the original.
 
Inspired by his first performance at Burning Man back in 2015, David explains “...my music now is based on deep, spiritual and ethnic music.” Taking his influence from a range of genres including Asian, Arabic and Georgian folk music, Stimmhalt is not your average electronic artist. 
 
Having previously released on Underyourskin Records and L’enfent Terrible among others, Stimmhalt the man himself remains enigmatic, known purely for his artistic talent. Pezzner; a teacher, producer and composer of music has previously released on; Get Physical, Freerange, Visonquest and Systematic among others, and returns once more to Rebellion having released his One More EP in 2011.
