Starjunk 95 - Big Badd Spacelines

The Starjunk story is about a crew of ragtag misfits that join forces to pilot the Starjunk 95 - an intergalactic radio station that cruises the galaxies blasting music for everyone to hear. The grooviest radio station in the galaxy, Starjunk 95 transmits the newest sounds of today drenched with vintage nostalgia of yesterday. It's piloted by a mysterious crew and operates on a unique frequency signal. Each crew member is said to represent a different sound and style of music, and today we get to hear 'Dozing Off Again...'

A creamy, lush Colorwave tune that's an ode to sitting in an office or classroom on a hot sunny day - which is where we find Jetta.

Before she joined Starjunk 95, she was working a boring office job with a terrible boss. She wasn't employee of the year by any means either, as she would spend most of her time either staring out the window or falling sleeping at her desk.

As the sun-washed hallway windows bathed the office corridors in warm light, Jetta would try and stay awake only to succumb to the melancholy afternoon vibes of sitting at a desk all day.

It wasn't her dream to sit there all day, and so she dreamt about everything else - travelling the galaxy, going on adventures with friends, and what it would be like to do something bigger than herself - such as bringing cool new music into the world (a dream she kept alive since she was a little girl)

But wait... at the beginning we said this was a Colorwave song, and yet it's a story about Jetta.. Could this just be a dream? Or is someone trying to influence her dreams?

When will we learn more of the Starjunk story? When will we meet the other crew members? Only time will tell. Until next time...

Today's story is a snapshot into a day in the life of Jetta. Prior to joining the intergalactic pirate radio station known as Starjunk 95, Jetta was just like anyone else - A normal citizen on planet X with a boring job, an annoying boss, and a pretty quiet life.

Nowadays she's busy with adventure and hardly gets a day off, so when the crew landed in Uenogo City Jetta seized the opportunity to walk around and explore. She met up with an old friend and the two grabbed coffee + boba at Kawaii Till I Die, an intergalactic cafe & clothing store specializing in colorful anime streetwear and drinks. They walked over to Shizuka Park to see the Plastic Waves along Cherry Wave shores, and then went to one of the many Rooftops in the city to talk and reminisce.

As dusk began to fall, the blue-ish hues of the sky melded with the glowing lights across the cityscape. Both girls said their goodbyes and went separate ways, and Jetta slowly strolled through the reflective atmosphere of the city not knowing when they'd see each other again. It was in this moment that she knew what The Real Space Blues were. A perfect day only lasts for so long, and soon she would be boarding the ship and heading out on another adventure.

When will we meet the other crew members? When will we learn more of the Starjunk story and what's in store for this crew? Only time will tell. Until next time..

Starjunk 95 - Kawaii Till I Die

"There was a point where I was stuck. I think we all get there at times. The situation, the circumstances, and the obstacles we face are unique to each one of us - and that's what makes this crazy thing called life so interesting. In my case, the place I found myself stuck in was just as much physical as mental. It was a location far off from civilization, known by some as the Dreamfields. Amongst the rolling hills and beautiful flowers there's said to be a certain kind of magic so prevalent you can almost see it flowing in the wind. It's where people go to find their dreams. Some people end up out there for good - retreating from society or eternally chasing their dreams but never fully realizing them. In my case, I knew I was going to get where I wanted, but I didn't know when. I started to question things - I started to question everything including myself. I couldn't even see the colors or the beauty that people speak of. I was ashamed to admit that I had never been able to see any of it. I felt lost, isolated, and alone. I didn't know if I would ever feel normal again. It's the double-edged sword you deal with when chasing your dreams through those fields. Everything around me started to feel stale and monotonous. It was right at the moment where I was going to give up that something happened... something amazing. I took a deep breath and felt my heart open. A surge of energy rushed through my body and I started floating. I started seeing everything around me change. I felt like a new person flying through the fields that I used to walk through. I was alive and for the first time in my life I wasn't chasing anything. Everything I wanted was coming to me in some sort of divine timing. And I finally noticed all the beautiful colors everyone talks about in the Dreamfields.

Ironically, as soon as I started noticing the beauty that was all around me is when it was finally my time to leave. Such is life sometimes..and that's why I knew we had to eventually fly across the Dreamfields with the Starjunk 95. We pick up interesting frequencies everywhere we go - but something about these were special. These felt and sounded like a nostalgic dream reliving itself in the present moment - reminiscent of dreamy clouds in the sky and colorful flowers amongst the hills. These were the Dreamfields and I'm so glad we finally get to share them with the world." - Jetta
