Sophia Amare - Drakaina : February 2024 (Psychedelic Trance)

L'Élan Créatrice - Translating to mean ‘Creative Momentum’ the title was inspired by the 1907 book L'Évolution Créatrice. (Creative Evolution) Although the book itself is extremely outdated, the title itself inspired the name of this release. These tracks were produced over the course of roughly two and a half months. Music being the extension of an artist; these four tracks show the two faces that makes Skuzzo. ‘The Muffin Conspiracy’ and ‘Motel 6 and Tequila’ are set to inspire listeners and dancers alike to laugh, smile and not take things too seriously. A bit satirical in some ways, but why assume everything in life has to be taken so seriously? ‘Transcendental Movement’ and ‘Before the Light’ are the more serious side of Skuzzo. Dance, the active form of meditation. A reminder to step back and recenter yourself. Trance yourself into these tracks and enjoy.

Skuzzo - Since 2010 Skuzzo has dedicated himself to pushing psychedelic trance to the very edges of dark experimentation. Harnessing genre-bending powers which fuse Hi-tech and Psycore.  She has been Dj Goldilox since 1997. Goldie Sirous and her husband DJ Aluxes/Kukulkanfounded founded and manage StarSeed Psytrance(Label) and Star Camp Shasta (Event) Goldie has a degree in Media and Performing Arts she began her music career in the Industrial band D.D.T. in Boston back in 1991. This is same Goldilox that started out her dj persona playing drum and bass at Sister SF in 1997, and has been DJing around the world ever since, with recent gigs in Ireland, Mexico, Guatemala, Egypt, Panama, North Carolina, California, and Oregon Eclipse. Her original tracks and DJ sets are Groovy, Dark, and Psychedelic, from 136-152 bpm.
