Merging musicians with years of experience, Static Satellites are one of the newest and hottest prospects to come out of the ever growing Scottish music scene.

The bands signature catchy indie pop riffs and deep rich vocals have gained them the accolade of being likened to artists such as The Strokes, The National and Two Door Cinema Club.

Formed in the summer of 2018 the band have been constantly writing and performing at every opportunity they can get. Their debut single ‘Spin’ was released in May 2019 as a fundraiser for the Samaritans charity and was included in Regal Radio’s ‘Independent Hottest 100 of 2019’ in Australia.

In October 2019 they released their second single, fan favourite ‘Waster’, which led to the band being named by Edinburgh Live as one of the top 5 West Lothian bands you need to know about, alongside rising stars Mark Sharpe & The Bicycle Thieves and The Snuts.

During the band’s short history they have played headline shows in multiple venues in Glasgow and have played throughout Scotland supporting Red Rum Club, Luke La Volpe and Voodoo Bandits.

With driving bass lines, melodic guitar licks and pounding drumbeats, Static Satellites are an invigorating new band offering a new breed of alternative noise.

Static Satellites are an exciting Glasgow/ West Lothian indie band who have been a part of the melting pot of the Scottish local scene since their formation in June 2018. Likened to standout acts such as Big Country, Biffy Clyro and The National, Static Satellites have captivated audiences with their “eclectic combination of styles” (Glasgow Times) and by offering a new breed of alternative noise.
