Punk, Grunge and Industrial Metal were the staples while growing up. From a metal vocalist in a band to eventually stumbling upon electronic music while travelling to Malaysia - it was an epiphany. The first wave of the progressive/tribal era, hard style and the shuffling culture were like nothing experienced before and would make an adept of electronic sounds. An irrational hatred towards synthesizers prior to the revelation meant not knowing where to start. Moved to London, went to music school and on graduating, bagged a publishing contract with Universal Music. Mauritius born producer, Muzikal Azylum also worked around as sound engineer for clubs, bands and radio station and undertook projects both under his aliases and real name.

After performing as a DJ for twenty years in the electronic world, it was time for a new challenge. The blood is thicker than water as they say. After som sundry brainstorming sessions during 2019 our organisation “We Are Music” was born.
