“ Don’t worry about me “ is a very personal record, more than others that I
have released. Both songs have been inspired by watching weird movies and
imagining a soundtrack for them. The title track is quite moody and makes me
think about the era when Blues musicians were travelling for endless tours
with only a change of clothes and instruments in their bags, with visits to train
stations and long solitary hours. Not so different from what we experience
when going from city to city to play our music. When writing “ Behind that
smile “ I was imagining a dark movie, a night scene in a smokey city,
suspense and surprise. I have been really happy to see how these songs
create a mood in clubs, and I hope you’ll like to play them too.
