Today they are giving away the remix ahead of their upcoming new Quixotic EP being released in September, featuring more original music along with remixes of Distant Pyramids by Michal Menert, Nominus, Space Jesus, and David Starfire. The new as yet unnamed EP will be engineered by none other than Ron Lorman, known for his work with Frank Zappa and Miles Davis in the 70’s and 80’s. This remix blends vibrant strings with driving drums and psychedelic sound bites giving this track an other-worldly feel.

This set was carefully mixed together during the early days of my journey as a downtempo DJ, a time filled with endless exploration, continously listening, and heartfelt appreciation for all forms of chillout music - that somehow shaped one part of my musical journey.

I am deeply grateful for the artists who have shared their creativity and passion through their music. Their artistry has not only inspired me but also touched a lot of listeners.

A significant portion of this set features releases from Altar Records between 2009-2012. The opportunity to represent Altar Records through that era was a kind of privilege. I am thankful for the trust and encouragement extended, and I hope that this humble collection does some justice to both the artists, and the label itself.

Welcome to an audio-trip enweaved by Veniamin Vigovsky from subtle structures of the psychedelic downtempo and uniting in itself a resinous bass with colours of live instruments. Tools of Perception - that's the name the author of the Invisible Inks project gave to the second album where influence of a cultural context on a person's perception of the world around himself became the main subject.

How was the world seen by ancient people? It's possible to understand it only by having a look at it with eyes of our ancestors. Therefore the aim of this album was to shift listener's consciousness to a body of his distant relative and give the chance to see the world in the way it was seen by shamans and sorcerers of antiquity.

Clocking in at over 8-minutes, this first taste of the new album from Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe is more than a lovely sunrise house tune, it is a visionary journey. 

Featuring dreamy sitar from maestro Paul Livingstone, stirring flute from Si Mullumby, and the ethereal vocals of Nicolle Jensen, “Closed Eyes in a Dust Storm” is a bold statement from the duo. Takkra is the electronic music project of hungarian born visual artist, guitarist and producer David Vigh. Former member (2002-2008) of eletro rock outfit The Carbonfools, Founder and songwriter of internationally recognised prog-rock band Turbo (2005-), producer of various side projects like Gobi. Takkra’s unique style is characterised by David’s cinematic, textural guitar sound, natural atmospheres, etherial synths, psychedelic effects and soft grooves. These soundscapes were specifically designed to treat listeners with soothing, regenerating frequencies and healing energies. The first LP is called “Technicolor Talk”. It is released on 26/06/2016, exclusively premiered as a continuous mix on RadiOzora. https://soundcloud.com/radiozora The title is reference to the obvious psychedelic influences and the cinematic vibes that are carried out through the album. Although Takkra is considered as David’s personal project, there have been several artists collaborating on Technicolor Talk, such as Aurafood on synths, Dure on multiple instruments, Laura Anna and Manoya on vocals, Mate Kocsis on drums and Matyi Mohacsi on Bass. Mixing was done by David and Dure, mastered by Robert Elster aka Vibrasphere. David is also an award winning video director and art director for creative production company Global Illumination. GI has been responsible for main stage vision at Ozora since 2015 and performing VJs at festivals like Boom and S.U.N. Takkra live consists of Mate Kocsis - Percussions Matyi Mohacsi - Bass David Vigh - Guitars Dure - Electronics.

Born in Athens and self-educated in guitar, piano, percussion and music technology, Stefanos has been involved in various forms of electronic and natural sound from the age of 7.

To date, he has released a total of 14 studio albums, 10 extended plays, and 11 singles.

As a composer and sound designer, he has composed music for various visual presentations, including projection mapping, holograms, and virtual reality experiences. His work has been commissioned by big names like National Geographic, Nike, Red Bull, Heineken, Microsoft, Samsung, and many more.

Additionally, as a stage musician and sound designer, he has participated in theatrical productions of the National Theatre of Greece and other productions, touring in ancient Greek theaters and internationally.

Several of his tracks have been released in music compilations and used for film/short film productions worldwide.

Also Co-founder and composer of the Zen Garden and Dreamakers multi performance projects.

Finally, as a sound designer, he conducted research and created sounds and presets for VST instruments for major corporations.
