The „Deep Shamanic Journeys“ (Standard Edition) Ableton Template contains more then 200 high quality great sounding organic loops (deep drones for a hypnotic and grounding atmosphere, warm pads for emotions and harmonious movement, instruments like flutes, hang and pan drums and didgeridoos, shamanic drums and percussion loops as well as nature recordings and fx sounds) ready for you to perform and record your individual sound journey. 

If you don't use Ableton you can use the loops and work with your prefered DAW.

Deep Shamanic Journeys (Demo 1)

This recording was made in the Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo, a place known for its incredible acoustics. Here I'm playing the Kamancheh, one of the predecessors of the violin, an ancient bowed string instrument from Persia. I feel that the discovery of that instrument brought me a bit closer to some of the more subtle frequencies I’m reaching for in music. 

While I was playing there was a strong rain shower coming down on the roof of the Mausoleum, and at first I thought that would make the recording useless, but it turned out that the soft rushing of the rain in the background actually added a beautiful high frequency continuo to the music.

 • Echoes “Qi” or “Chi”—life force, prana, scalar breath.
 • In Japanese, “Ki” represents energy or spirit.
 • It also reflects a vertical axis (Y-prime in Codex geometry)—the implosive feminine vector of reception, presence, and coherence.

Thus, “Ki” encodes the field of life energy, the vertical harmonic that receives and anchors cosmic breath into form.
