Marquis & The Vanguard - Tonight

Here's a little weekend present for those interested.
A little something on a strangely tuned guitar (FCD#GA#D). I added some supportive arpeggios here and there.

I think it has a sweet and light melancholic tone and I really like the sound of my acoustic. I realize an expensive mic would present that sound even better.

Feel free to work on it if it ignites something in you whether you want to glitchify it, build a drone around it, add vocals, timestrech it to last an hour, steal samples or whatever. I would love to hear the result.

Homesick

Stellarize is the project of singer and songwriter Dee Corcoran. 

Dee has spent a number of years travelling the world with her guitar, performing and absorbing the sounds of many places like Ærø Island, in Denmark to a small beautiful beach town, Tofino on the West coast of Canada’s Vancouver Island. Her songs are their own journey through all the same places and experiences of her travels. Now based in Wellington, New Zealand, Dee has fleshed Stellarize out into an alt-country, psych-rock caramel quartet, with each member of the band bringing their own juicy flavour to the band's inviting, transcendent sound.
