Hey folks, welcome to this 56th episode of the Stellar Series, with guest Salaam Kalyubia.

Based in Paris and resident of the Exocet collective, Salaam Kalyubia (@axel-dsm) has developed a deep taste for storytelling and psychedelism. In his incessant quest to find bridges between distant worlds, he likes to represent a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from ambient, dub, downtempo, oriental and industrial touches, deep techno etc.

Jin Mustafa is a Stockholm based DJ with a keen sense of narrative and suspense. Her sets are deviced of enthralling techno, delving into hypnotic rhythms without shying away from bold moves into industrial and experimental territories.
Mustafa has also been active as an event organizer, as part of Grupp 13, the former collective Samlingen and the club project 
Arcade Overseas, which combines art and music at Fylkingen - an institution for experimental music in Stockholm. She is also a member of the off-kilter techno duo Karabasan Drane.

@ligovskoi is an interdisciplinary artist duo based in Paris and Brussels. This podcast is a live recording. Over the past eight years Ligovskoï has been working on a diverse body of work guided by their interests in both visual art and music. Through the use of both sonic and visual media, they explore the metaphysical and poetical potential of minimal and abstract composition.  Their diverse body of work made of publications, A/V live performances, and multimedia installations invites the audience to a contemplating experience of deep recollection; both profound and hypnotic. Their cinematographic music takes the listener on a spacey and meditative journey toward introspection and inner bliss.

Mysteries of the Deep CXIV - James A. Reeves | Truly the Last Days

I was invited by @sovaaudio a few weeks back to prepare something for the first broadcast from their new (and very beautiful) studio/showroom in East London equipped with Funktion 1 and Persian carpet. I put together a liveset from lockdown recordings (a lot of the music isn't very finished however there's a roughness to them I like), plus a few other reworked bits from my upcoming album. Big love to George, Tzveti and Rupert for the wonderful production, vvvlad for tripping us all out with the visuals and East London Brewing Company for the beers which went down very well. Special mention to the Linea Research amps blasting out the hot air on a 28º sweaty Wednesday evening.
