Endlose Zeiten

Back in 2019 me and my wife were traveling through South East Asia (and eventually got ‘stuck’ in Australia because of the world famous pandemic but that’s another story) and I recorded a bamboo water tumbler (if that’s the correct word for it) in Pam Bok near Pai in Thailand. I always wanted to use the sound of the tumbler (and the small creek it was standing in) but couldn’t find the right spot for it. Now I finally found use for it in this little meditative sounding ambient song. The title is a (rough) translation of how the locals call this bamboo bridge ([Boon] Kho Ku Sui or Kho Ku So).

Stemming from prior mutual respect, and interest for each other's work, it was not long after their first meeting at the turn of the millennium (when Ysatis was recording for Tresor, and Soublis for Chain Reaction) that a desire for a future collaboration was born.

…and a great many years later. Enter “Soluce”.

A newly formed alias, and the vehicle under which to present the odyssey that is “Birth” (LP).

The Stellar Transitions adventure started three years ago, with the beginning of the "Stellar Series" podcast channel, dedicated to the exploration of ambient, drone and experimental music related to the hypnotic techno scene. Now as there's almost 50 episodes on the channel, it's time to unveil the second part of the adventure. Here is the very first release of the Stellar Transitions music label.

This is the first chapter of a new serie of V.A. releases with tracks from artists that have already contributed to the podcast channel in the past. You have to know, Stellar Transitions is a project about light - this serie will tell the spiritual story of the light through a 24-hour earth day.

The first track, from french Martin Goodwin, is a solar track that evolves between distant noise, organic drones and a big work on the textures.
The second, from french Adhémar, is a 10 minutes meditative ambient track that inspire to an exploration on the deeper side of your inner self. Close your eyes.
With the third from another french as Vâyu, the first light of the day starts to appear. The beautiful synth pads, the sparkling percs and the moving bassline leads you to a transcendental journey.
The fourth and last is from serbian Zhe Pechorin, and its name, "On My Way to Home", sounds like an evidence at the listening : this emotive, soothing ambient track is the accurate soundtrack to the end of a long night, at the moment where you see the first sunbeams on the way back to home. A beautiful epilogue to the journey.

Now, the dawn breaks.

The deep and weird dream of the midsummer night, the eighteenth 꿈 Kkum episode is a 40-minute live set of a fantastic and mysterious experimental artist - Ryo Murakami.

The vast and persistent exploration of the sound of freely flowing through the various genres of modern electronic music such as contemporary music, ambient, drone, noise, and post-techno melts on the music style that Ryo Murakami has long pursued, let listeners fascinating and immersing in the deep sea of electronic music. The music of Murakami, represented by Depth of Decay (Depth of Decay / 2011), Deist (Bedouin Records, 2015), Esto (Bedouin Records, 2016), Stunning (Semantica, 2018), and Sea (Depth of Decay, 2018) have been loved by enthusiasts for unprecedented deep and various sounds and rhythms, and its highly complete musicality. C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.
