This fourth edition of the Te Hā series, Ka Korokī Te Manu, speaks of the dawn chorus of birds. Some of the waiata and haka included are repeats from previous albums and others are newer compositions which sing to a younger generation. We also herald a wonderful chorus of waiata dating back to the 1940s. Ka Korokī Te Manu contains plenty for us all to enjoy and learn. Nō reira – e tau taku manu e tau.

Not the Same (Chill Party Remix)

I was commissioned to produce a song for children to sing together at a schools festival in North London. I helped complete the song and steered it in an electro-pop direction to appeal to the age group. I produced the music and mixed an instrumental version for the kids to sing with on the day, along with a guide vocal version for them to learn from in advance (this one). From what I heard, the kids loved it. Happy kids = happy client = happy me!
