Om mani padme hum is the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra particularly associated with Shadakshari in Tibetan Buddhism, which is one form of Avalokiteśvara appearing in four-arms, the bodhisattva of compassion. In direct translation from Sanskrit, Mani means "jewel" or "bead" and Padma means "the lotus flower", the Buddhist sacred flower.

Om mani padme hum is commonly carved onto rocks or written on paper which is inserted into prayer wheels. When an individual spins the wheel, it is said that the effect is the same as reciting the mantra as many times as it is duplicated within the wheel.

Spinning the written form of the mantra around in a Mani wheel (or prayer wheel) is also believed to give the same benefit as saying the mantra, and Mani wheels, small hand wheels and large wheels with millions of copies of the mantra inside, are found everywhere in the lands influenced by Tibetan Buddhism.

The 14th Dalai Lama is the current Dalai Lama, as well as the longest-lived incumbent. Dalai Lamas are the head monks of the Gelug school, the newest of the schools of Tibetan Buddhism.   He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, and is also well known for his lifelong advocacy for Tibetans inside and outside Tibet.

Lama is a title for a teacher of the Dharma in Tibetan Buddhism. The name is similar to the Sanskrit term, Guru.  "Gu" means darkness, and "Ru" means light.  Guru together means the light in darkness, which guides people to leave the darkness.

唵嘛呢叭咪吽（梵文：ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ / oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ；藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པ་དྨེ་ཧཱུྃ / om ma ni bê mê hum），又名六字真言或六字大明咒，是佛教裡最常見的真言（mantra），是觀世音菩薩願力與加持的結晶，故又稱為觀世音（藏文：སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་）（四臂白觀音）的心咒，經上說：「此六字大明陀羅尼（註：六字真言），是觀自在菩薩摩訶薩微妙本心，若有知是微妙本心，即知解脫」。六字真言除了刻在石上，亦多刻在轉經筒上。

六字真言具有微妙不可思議功德，又具無量三昧法門，一切金剛護法、天龍八部，無不喜歡擁護，佛教認為，若此真言著於身、觸於手、藏於家，或書於門，皆得逢凶化吉，遇難呈祥。念誦本咒即特別啟請大悲觀世音菩薩的加持。

第十四世達賴喇嘛，藏傳佛教格魯派最有影響力的人物，1959年西藏爆發騷亂後，離開西藏並流亡印度。達賴是蒙古語"海"的意思，喇嘛是藏語"上人"的意思。

喇嘛（藏文：bla-ma）為 bla（上）與 ma（人）之复合词，直譯為上師、上人，為對藏傳佛教僧侶之尊稱，長老、上座、高僧之稱號。随着藏傳佛教傳入中原，漢人習慣上以喇嘛來泛稱所有的藏傳佛教僧侶。

Shataparamita Stotra - Ode to the Six Transcendental Perfections

Prayer of Kuntuzangpo  a famous Dzogchen aspiration prayer from the Gongpa Zangthal. It is to be recited especially during a solar or lunar eclipse, an earthquake or at the solstices.

This aspiration prayer comes from the Dzogchen tantra called the Tantra of the Great Perfection which Shows the Penetrating Wisdom of Samantabhadra. In Tibetan, the short title of this tantra is Gongpa Zangthal Gyi Gyü, which means “The Tantra of Penetrating Wisdom” or “The Tantra of Transcendent Intention.”

THE GREAT PERFECTION PRAYER OF KUNTUZANGPO

Không chỉ làm mãn nguyện bất cứ mong cầu nào của chúng sanh, mà Ngài còn giúp làm tan biến những nỗi sợ hãi của họ, như tám nỗi sợ lớn và mười sáu nỗi sợ nhỏ trong đó có nỗi sợ bị trộm cướp, sợ nước, rắn, chất độc, tù đày, v.v…, cả mọi nỗi sợ nội tâm trên con đường tới chân lý tuyệt đối. Việc trì tụng thần chú mười âm của đức Lục Độ Mẫu Tara (OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SVAHA) giúp cho mọi nỗi sợ hãi của họ được lắng dịu và mong cầu của họ được thỏa mãn. 
Câu tâm chú dịch nghĩa:
“Om”: Đại diện cho sự giác ngộ về thân, ngữ (khẩu) và ý.
“Tare”: Giải thoát khỏi luân hồi.
“Tutare”: Giải thoát bạn khỏi tám nỗi sợ hãi xuất phát từ sự thiếu hiểu biết, tham, sân, kiêu ngạo, ghen ghét, tham lam, nghi ngờ và tà kiến.
“Ture”: Giải phóng khỏi khổ đau, giải thoát chúng ta khỏi các nguyên nhân thực sự làm rối loạn suy nghĩ, làm ta đau khổ thực sự.
“Soha”: Thiết lập cội gốc của con đường trong trái tim của bạn.

Thần chú Tara Xanh mang lại những lợi ích tinh thần nhanh hơn bất kỳ thực hành tantric nào, đó là lý do vì sao nó rất phổ biến. Sadhanas (thực hành tâm linh) trong đó Tara là Yidam (vị thần thiền định)

Thần chú Tara Xanh cần đến một trái tim chân thành khi trì tụng, bạn có thể cầu xin các phước lành của Đức Mẹ Tara và Người sẽ bạn bảo vệ khỏi nguy hiểm và từ những nỗi sợ hãi của bạn. Ngoài ra, thần chú được sử dụng để khắc phục sự tắc nghẽn về tinh thần, cũng như tắc nghẽn trong các mối quan hệ. Đọc thần chú mỗi ngày có thể loại trừ được bệnh tật, sợ hãi, lo lắng, đau khổ, thiên tai, khó khăn và nghiệp xấu.

Theo các vị Lạt Ma, không ai đạt được giác ngộ mà không có sự giúp đỡ của Đức Mẹ Tara. Khi bạn niệm thần chú Tara Xanh bằng sự cống hiến mãnh liệt, thần chú sẽ được biến đổi thành một lời nguyện cầu đầy quyền năng.
Hãy hát thần chú này mỗi buổi sáng (108 lần) và mỗi đêm. Khi bạn hát thần chú, hãy tưởng tượng Mẹ Tara Xanh hiện ra trong không gian trước mặt bạn, ngang bằng trán của bạn, ở khoảng cách thoải mái khoảng một thân.
Như Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche nói trong phần giới thiệu của ông về Tara Sadhana:
“Tara là biểu hiện hoàn hảo của sự không thể tách rời của tánh không, nhận thức và lòng trắc ẩn. Cũng như bạn sử dụng gương để nhìn thấy khuôn mặt của bạn, thiền Tara là một phương tiện nhìn thấy khuôn mặt thật của tâm trí bạn

Âm thanh được chuyển tải ở tần số 432 Hz chữa lành linh hồn, tâm trí và cơ thể. 
Những lợi ích là:
- Trái tim con người (nhịp tim) được chuẩn hóa.
- Các xoắn kép DNA (tần số nhân bản) cộng hưởng trong rung động ban đầu của nó.
- Chức năng não tối đa - đồng bộ bihemispheric (hai bán cầu não) được cân bằng, là nhịp tim cơ bản của hành tinh (cộng hưởng cơ bản của khoang Schumann).
Âm nhạc là 1 dạng "thông tin", lượng dữ liệu âm thanh được tạo ra ở tần số  432Hz, không bị thất thoát trong số các phân tử khí hiện diện trong không khí vận chuyển âm thanh vì chúng tương thích với cấu trúc phân tử của không khí.
