The underlying idea behind Microburst Alert stemmed from an intention to dabble freely with a sound palette for electronic music that was diverse , eclectic, rich in creative pursuit and even slightly obscure at times - without sticking to any specific boundaries in terms of genre or “style”.

The presented ideas are reflective of the primal nature of a lot of what we have come to identify with techno, IDM & electronica.
Nikhil’s work under this project / alias has a wide array of adopted directions one can associate with his music. The released tracks have the potential to actively influence the perspective of music connoisseurs, consumers, tastemakers and producers alike. The overall spectrum is as broad as it is raw and unique.

On April 20th (2025), the debut full-length album from Microburst Alert - “Abstract Motion” was released on Bandcamp , subsequently May 11th on all major steaming platforms worldwide.
