With subtle nods to the legacy of Larry Heard and a South African house sensibility woven through each groove, this album moves with intention, emotion, and a grounded sense of purpose. With collaborations featuring OVEOUS, Steve Faets, and Berenice Van Leer, the LP doesn’t shy away from warm melodies and vocal moments, but it remains rooted in that heads-down, late-night feeling. Organic synth work, evolving arrangements, deep low-end, and tasteful restraint guide the project from start to finish. These are not just tracks for the dancefloor - they’re meditations for the mind, body, and soul.

KaySoul’s name has been quietly bubbling in the deeper corners of the scene for a while now. Since 2010, he’s built a signature sound with heavy emotional weight—earning him recognition at the 2018 Dance Music Awards South Africa, where he took home both Best Remix and Best Male DJ. Influenced by jazz, soul, and the subtle textures of broken beat and downtempo electronica, his palette is wide - but his intention remains laser-focused on soul.

As a label, Feedasoul has always championed groove with depth, emotion with purpose, and Black Rose is no exception. This is one for the diggers. The late-night selectors. The ones who still believe house music is a form of storytelling.

Blue Chords - From way back - (House salad music EP 27)

French producer, Steve Faets is a self-taught keyboardist who started playing piano at the age of 12. He enters in electronic music as a DJ in the 2000s. He combines these sounds with his keyboard to add his stamp to the pieces of artist of the electro scene.

His YouTube channel makes us discover his world. It includes among others standards ranging from jazz to house (Detroit Swindle, Daft Punk) or techno (Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier).

Jeff Mills himslef shared his cover of "the bells" on the piano on Facebook and Twitter.

Today, he is regularly seen playing in France and Switzerland and accompanying DJs on festival stages or in clubs.

His musical galaxy is tinged with jazz, funk and disco sounds that he puts at the service of house music, deep house and funky house.

The HOUSE GANG FAMILY is particularly important to him. Combining festive events with his passion for music, his partner, DJ Phileas Fogg, knows how to give him the excitement to captivate the crowds.

He has been able to internalize these experiences and now gives us his own compositions.

His productions are oriented house, deep house, tech house or soulful house and highlight his love for piano, fender Rhodes and analog synths and vocals.
