I am Steven Jay. I have been paying music since the mid 1970's. Drums, keyboards, guitars, vocals. I have played thousands of gigs, from pubs, clubs, concert venues, including The Marquee club, The Stone Henge Festival, The Hippodrome, The White Lion, Upstairs at Ronnie Scotts, 101 Club, and extensive gigs in France. 

I Set up Merlyns Cave Studio In South London In the early 1980's as an 8 track, and set up my own band called Street Opera. Moved to Malvern, Worcestershire, '89, where it turned into a 16 track on 2" tape to 24 rack also on 2" tape, with a midi system linked in. Started teaching drums, late 70's and worked on private lessons, + schools and colleges. I taught recording for university students from Leeds University, plus Rock School in Worcester. I recorded hundreds of bands, did TV and radio work, plus solo projects. Then I relocated to France. I now have a private studio and concentrate on my solo projects, including prog rock, pop songs and music production education.
