The Craft Music label is back after a one year break with some fresh new cuts by resident Marco Lazovic. It's an EP inspired by the sound of the English club scene in the nineties and noughties, labels like Good Looking Records and artists such as Mike Millrain. Opener 'Losin Control' sure is a compelling mix of electro and breaks that soars on cosmic lines with euphoric vocals in the distance. 'Come To London' has a distinctly garage feel to it with its crisp broken beats and there is more high energy but melody-rich breakbeat action in 'Dark Gravity' while 'Space Jazzy' is s super sweet and deep jungle cruiser.

After a brief hiatus, Late Night Burners re-enters the party with a fresh reissue in the Still Burning series, the first of a few that will drop throughout 2024. And again, the adventure was found close by.

Roland Klinkenberg operates under many clever aliases (Simsalabim!) but arguably his biggest moment as a producer was the progressive trance tune “Inner Laugh”, which was remixed by none other than Border Community founder James Holden. And when those kinds of tunes get cross-bred with uptempo house and menacing techno, you get “SIM 01 / Trance Textures 2”. Originally released as the first record on his own Sim label in 1995, these tunes were part of the beginning of Roland’s long and illustrious career. You’ll understand it when you hear it. No remixes this time, just the four OG cuts remastered from the DAT tapes with love, respect, and tenderness.

o•rbyss aims to help soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the well-being of the community. Queer DJs are invited to submit a mix to showcase an alternative side to their music library outside of a rave and take us on a meditative journey. ✨

Notes on the mix:

"Immersive, emotive, reflective - these are things I seek in music, regardless of genre. Lately I've been finding solace in sonic serenity, blissful in this transcendent audible-space, or occasionally lack thereof. I've gone quite 'New Age', preferring beat-less sounds and experiments when I'm listening at home, and much of that is exemplified here. Eno, Blunt, Masin, Berkeley, Yokota, Doyle, Buch, Roberston, Hinata.. to name a few. One for a Sunday evening at home, by yourself or with someone special."

Jordan Hearns is an Irish artist, DJ and publisher. His work is an exploration into the significance of communal and domestic spaces as vessels for individualism, explored through the contexts of time, memory and ephemerality. Hearns' work is concerned with underground clubbing communities, fleeting romantic chronicles and urban transient floral-scapes. Co-founder of SMUT Press, Hearns' most recent works are presented in a mixed-media manner, incorporating still and moving image, audio production and curation, and artist-editioned publications.
