“As the name suggests, Triptych III is the third piece in a series of solo piano studies we have written, each musing on a short theme, taking their own delicate, meandering course. We often write for a larger ensemble and so these solo piano pieces have served not only as a study in distilling our multi-layer arrangements to their essence, to a form two hands can play, but also cast the spotlight on the centrepiece/bedrock of our sound, our beloved, creaky studio piano. We feel there is an air of content closure about Triptych III, and we hope you find it a fitting end to our Triptych series.”
