Honestly, I feel really iffy about how this one turned out. I prefer my Dealing With A Devil cover by a long shot, especially since that one took only a day to start and finish while this one was a bit of a challenge. I feel like that one was also a bit more inspired creativity-wise.
Oh well, at least I've finally started to figure out how to use sidechaining as a mixing tool

Lacking Polish

Twin Dragons is a new homebrew NES game, playable on an actual cartridge, that won the NESDev coding competition in 2016 as a demo. The following kickstarter campaign was funded with success (300%), and after a year and half of continuous work, the game was released in february 2018, and can be ordered here : www.twindragons.fr/en.

This is the original soundtrack of the game, and is the actual music that you can hear when playing the game on your NES. Every track was created on Famitracker 0.4.6 in order to meet with the requirements of the console (2a03 only).

This song was made with the sounds of the Yamaha PSS-100 only. It's a small square wave toy keyboard with a voice variator and a digital recorder. It was released in 1989.
I've used the original and sampled versions of the sounds, together with eq, delay and reverb.

She has such a uniquely fun battle theme, and it's honestly cool to see that Hitomi Sato returned to Pokemon music to compose for the DLC! Makes me wonder where Go Ichinose ran off to... anyway please enjoy!

I am a huge Castlevania fan... of the music that is. Since I've never owned a game from the franchise, I can and have played the music. When I stumbled on this beauty, I had had HAD to recreate it.

This was on the VRC6 Chip.

I wanted to do this for a while now, but I didn't like how sharp the 2A03 chip's Pulse was at a higher sound. I found an Organ instrument for the N163 chip, and it was a lot softer (and didn't have the typical "interference" that the chip is known to have). 

I thought it slaps with some drums in it.
