Bach: Concerto in D-minor for Two Violins & Orchestra, BWV. 1043 (1717 – 1723) – I. (Vivace)

The New York Philharmonic is joined by soprano Dorothea Röschmann; mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter; tenor Steve Davislim, and 2015/16 Artist-in-Residence Eric Owens, bass-baritone, plus the New York Choral Artists for a complete performance of Bach's b-minor Mass.  Alec Baldwin is the program host and Alan Gilbert conducts.

April’s Concert of the Month is the Mass in B minor by Bach from a concert performed in Storkyrkan the 10 Mars 2013 with with St Jacobs Chamber Choir  and REbaroque (Maria Lindahl, concertmaster)

Soloists: Hannah Holgersson (soprano), Mikael Bellini (countertenor), Michael Axelsson (tenor) and Håkan Ekenäs (bass).
