PREMIERE! Alighted - Fatal Sunlight (Original Mix) Garden Broom Recordings

McLean Macionis, aka Alighted, is a forward-thinking composer and producer whose solo and collaborative works live at the intersection of music, engineering, and the human experience. A recent transplant to the northeast, Macionis previously lived in California where he worked as a composer for film and television. He has also worked as a sound designer and performance artist.


Macionis graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Music Technology from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where he later taught courses in interface design and mechatronic sound art. He is the author of two published papers in the Proceedings of the International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression, both of which describe original research in the field of music technology. Macionis currently releases music under the moniker Alighted and as one half of the electronic music duo NMND, and operates the record label Garden Broom Recordings. He is a Professor of the Practice at Middlebury College in Vermont.

James Wilkins is a 23-year-old producer, DJ and founder of Shambles Festival. Based out of the South West of England his eclectic sound resides within UK dance music; blending a multitude of sub-genres with ease including House, Breaks, and Speed Garage.

James has performed at well-established venues including Motion (Bristol), Rio XXL (Budapest), Depot (Cardiff).

He has also supported the likes of So Solid Crew, and featured in the side rooms of events headlined by artists such as Fisher, Max Chapman, Holy Goof & Redlight.
