These recordings are a collaboration between painter Helen Clapcott and researcher Suzie Cloves, both from Stockport. The recordings form a soundscape of Stockport during its time as Town of Culture in 2024. This collaboration was commissioned by Women + Archives in 2024 for their International Women's Day exhibition at Hat Works Museum, 8th-24th March 2024.
