Hi, 

  What I do fulltime is completely different to what I do here. What I do here, I do as a hobby - with having a complete Love of most Music, from Punk to the Classical Genre. 

  I am a self taught amateur Musician. I have had a complete passion for making Music since I was a teenager, having played in an Acoustic Punk Band (Toby's Red Sock) with 2 friends in the mid 80's. I purchased my first synth in 1993 along with some other hardware gear and have been writing, composing and recording compositions ever since. I have a vast collection of Synths, Drum Machines, and EFX units and buy and collect new Instruments as often as possible. 

  I do not have a studio setup as such, I just set gear up, which can be time consuming and sometimes a waste of time if I'm not happy with what I come up with. However, I never thought that what I create would ever be good enough to be heard outside my own four walls - thats until I discovered sound cloud. I'm very surprised with the response I have had from my compositions being heard - and I welcome all comments(either positive or negative) with Love and Respect for what you all share on here also. :c)

  My Music is Influenced mostly by Personal Feelings of Love, Hate, Happiness & Heartache. Other Influences Include This Mortal Coil, Nine Inch Nails, Boards Of Canada, Cindytalk, Massive Attack, Coil, Wire, Bauhaus, Sisters Of Mercy,  Joy Division and much much more.

PS: I now have side project that consists of myself & 3 friends. We get together now and again, drink lots of beer and attempt to cover our favourite songs. This takes place in a small cottage/caravan in The Highlands and used to sometimes be performed in Aberdeenshire. We don't have a band name as of yet but we have a Genre called Drunk Rock. Dark Matter Clear Pattern was set up as a ying to the yang of the acid techno music and culture myself and some close friends had been enjoying for some years. Playing in Clubs such as 414 in Brixton and Electrowerkz in Islington and partying in dank dark squats, majestic collapsing factories and forgotten spaces all over London. DMCP was born in south London over a discussion between myself and DMCPs host Justin’s, love of cosmology and the Roland TR-808. Mystereid soon joined and helped move the ideas into becoming a musical entity. With similar tastes in music and an eclectic palette it wasn’t difficult to find a common ground and soon we started to produce soundtracks for the Stoogiezone collective (www.youtube.com/stoogiezone). our first live performance was early in 2008 at The Foundry Great Eastern St London and was a live rendition of a soundtrack to accompany the projection of “endzone… by Stoogie” this was followed later in the summer by a second performance at The Foundry by Stoogie again with DMCP providing the soundtracks to three projected films and providing of course some acid techno for the after party.The later part of 2008/09 was spent assimilating new equipment and software into DMCP punctuated by the improvised sessions that have become the core matter for DMCP. In 2010 were looking to get out and play more gigs and festivals and continue to evolve the sound and the line up.
