Kemishan has always loved music straight from his humble beginning of life, Real names " Nyero Mark",  born 06th October in kampala, Uganda. Though the whole world is Home, Kemishan's inspiration comes from higher grounds. In 2005, he found dancehall, Soca and reggea very motivating for his career as a Musician and Music Artist, this music is kick up the bass, trebble, drum and make people dance so his music is talking on behalf of all dancehall and reggea. He developed his skills by hanging at studios, making dubs,deejaying, mixtapes, acouple of singles, performing at events, parties, shows and concerts, Also adopting patois and listening to alot of music, Jamaican dancehall, Caribbean soca  and reggea music to be specific. Eversince he picked up the mic, kemishan has never turned back. 
      In febuary 2010, Kemishan got his first record deal in his career with "Osmond records", Later "Urban Aksent Records" then " Buddies Music" and now Currently C.E.O of his own label "DANCEHALL CONNECT UG", Kemishan is flawless.
      Alongside other associated acts, kemishan had been dropping hot tracks but After He started his own Label early 2016, he dropped his biggest hit song " Big bumpa" featuring "Mun G" and later "Up in the Air" featuring "Cindy, DjRoja & DjSlickstuart" continued the flow of end less Hit Songs. This has given Kemishan an established solid base as an artist, musician, song writer, deejay, Producer, Mentor and music composer.

What is the archetype of a true urban griot artist? A true urban griot artist spits verses that are stories that’s devastating to fallacy and malignant to ignorance. A urban griot artist touches their audience in places that either never been touched or deep places solemn touched. A true urban griot artist is humbled from a distance, yet a lyrical old soul before your spirit.

Tunde Olufemi, phonetically known as Soula; is the archetype of a true creative spirit! His lyrics flow like the unpredictable breeze that engulfs you during the night. His delivery is like Malcolm X speaking in front of an uneasy crowd in the streets of New York city; dynamic and direct, straight to the point of what’s happening in anyone’s life.

And his stage presence? His stage presence is mesmerizing and powerful at the same time, forcing everyone present to break down all barriers and prepare to taste reality, served up in doses of their past, present and future.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Soul first discovered his passion for the spoken word through the musical background of his childhood. Being accustomed to hearing the compositions of close family members and friends, and exposed to classical records of Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and the Wailers, and Motown. He discovered in the midst of striving in finding his own voice hidden between the pages of his life. The joys, pain, fears and the passion in which he so creatively pour into his art today.  Soul wasn't too keen on sharing his poetic soul with unknown patrons around the world until his college days studying Theater and Communications at Temple University where his love to implement live instruments into his work accelerated. 

However, after migrating to Atlanta, Georgia in 1996 the urge to represent deliverance on the mic superseded at the legendary Patti Hut Café’ that would be the initial ground breaking spot to feature Poetic Soul to the world!

Shortly thereafter, Soul would join a spoken word group called, “The Klub Kummba Poets” and begin co hosting a spoken word radio show entitled “Reflections” on the community station WRFG 89.3 FM in the late nineties. After this radio and group experience, Soul realized that his calling was to deliver his unique flow worldwide solo.
As a phenomenal solo artist, his skill is comparable to Gil Scott Heron, and The Last Poets. 

Soul exudes the same confidence as Steven Biko and Marcus Garvey, boldly rocking truth before non-believers, an oppressive system, and a younger generation only to have them bow down in belief once his verse strikes them like lightening and penetrates the walls of their minds.

And with this EP Soul paints many different  portraits of life drawn from his own experiences, the experiences of others and life seen only through the eyes and soul of a Poetic Soul.
