A spoken word version of a song originally written and performed in 1983 by my old band D.F.A., (Draw Funny Animal)

D.F.A. recorded this song in 1984, it was first released in CD form, along with other material in 2022 by ‘Time to Be Proud’ Records, and was then nominated, and made eligible, for the Northern Ireland Music Awards - Album of the Year 2023. You couldn’t make this sh*t up!

Hello. I go under the name of Mouse. I've dabbled in and out music for many years, but I have only now got to the stage where I'm taking it a bit more seriously. I try my best to play music in a tuneful sort of way and sing songs in a hummable sort of way. I hope you like my songs and spoken word 'listenings', and you are always free to comment. I might not like all your comments though, but at this stage of my life, I'm just too old to care. Hi, My name is Johnny Mc Farlane, I am an Indie songwriter from Ireland. I write, play, produce and distribute my own music. I try to write songs that will mean something to whoever may be listening. I try to express feeling and emotions through my music, I try to hit the heart and soul of whoever may be listening and to pass on my feelings through my lyrics and my music. A lot of the songs I write come from Personal experiences, some are pure imagination, but all try to carry a message of Hope, Fait, understanding and a spiritual message of love.
