A debutant on the 1Forty imprint that we felt just had to be showcased. One of his more grimey productions from the 22 year old producer is ‘Hydrocity’.

With releases previously on Wile Out, Project Allout Records & Electrikal Records the young Glaswegian has amassed support from fellow Scots - Polonis & Rapture 4D as well as Spooky and refix master Gundam. With opportunities few and far between north of the border until more recently for grime music in Scotland, Casement has paved his way into the scene through playing at the likes of Stereo, Broadcast, King Tuts, Kelburn Festival & Woodlands Festival whilst honing his sound in the studio for the past 5 years. With Polonis & Rapture putting the scene firmly on the map since the Red Bull Beetroots Project it’s great to see more producers coming through from the north with such a unique take on Grime music.

Casements interests go much further than just grime when it comes to underground genres as he is recognised also for his UK Funky creations which have been supported by Murder He Wrote amongst other DJ’s on Radar Radio. 2018 is looking to be the breakout year for the versatile producer with other plans in the pipeline already in place with another Label all to be revealed later this year.

Up next on Reloaded Sounds, we have Nottinghams very own Panar with a release entitled ‘Kamikaze’. Panar is usually known for producing UKG bangers but this track brings some serious breaks/rave heat that is certainly made for the end of the night. The intro sucks you in with some unbelievable euphoric synths and breaks style drums to then drop into a huge sounding bass thats going to rip any sound system to shreds. The track is a nod to the quality of music that Nottingham is producing at the minute, and Panar is up there currently. We hope you enjoy this one, its an absolute banger

Despite remaining quiet on the release front recently, Wudini's dubs have been getting spins all over the radio, along with an inclusion in the latest Kiwi Rekords mix 'Kiwi Direkt'. Wudini's mix is filled with bassy cuts and dubplates, along with some unreleased collaborations.

Downplay is proud to welcome back London producer Kells to the label with his brand new release, ‘Flinch’.

‘Flinch’ immediately impresses from its first bars. It’s the kind of uniquely joyful sonic mixture that only UK Garage can really deliver, and Kells is an expert in crafting these pitch-perfect 2-step gems. Sprightly percussion drives the groove, whilst a glittering selection of keys and strings let the melody bloom across the track. In short, UKG heaven.

‘Extra Faff’ toughens up the formulae a little for a broken-beat inspired roller that comes packed with jazz-inflected chords and motifs. Juicy bass stabs take the track direct to the dancefloor, whilst swirling synths provide the atmosphere. A real piece of production expertise that will warm up any set expertly.

One of the hottest names in the scene, Manchester don Yemi delivers a remix masterclass with his take on the title track. Maximising the raw groove of the original with a lazerbeam-like focus, he delivers a techy, percussive roll-out that absolutely slaps on every level.
