These two powers combine their unique and hard-hitting energy and organic natural chemistry for two and a half huge hours, witnessed by the hyper-charged crowd at Sub Club, who were left at the end still wanting more!

'Shadow of the Tomb Raver' is the first installment of the SI mix series, coming in fast, hard and hot from new Naarm duo @callconnect. 

Composed of Tanya (@t-n_dj) and Monique (@moniquearaujoratedm), Call Connect have prepared an hour of juicy leftfield tech, hard-hitting breaks and 4-to-the-floor trance-inspired acid that begs to be moved to alongside the loudest speakers at your disposal. Both brimming with talent in their solo projects which includes being well-seasoned DJ's, there's no shock that joined together the pair has already become such a formidable force in the dance community, which this mix does not shy away from reminding us!

A highly diverse and inspirational selector, they have a deep connection to artists and scenes across the world. Pushing anything from intriguing bass and dancehall, unhinged footwork and ambient, I was also recently blown away at their perfect deep, rhythmic and textural warm up for DJ Sprinkles at the RA 24/7 party.

After just a couple of years DJing that spawned from promoting her own Club Lux parties at Lounge, Matilda has become a regular fixture at other Melbourne hotspots like Hugs & Kisses (RIP) and Loop, where she would navigate through a blend of electro, techno and industrial vibes (all heard in this stomping mix). Her latest venture is recently established party with Brooke Powers called Powertrip, a queer-focused event where the two DJ's book artists that inspire and provoke thought. All that and talks of dabbling in production have got us excited to see what Matilda will do in 2019!

Rural is always a special event for me. Playing in the Japanese mountains in front of my friends, it means a lot. Last year I was on the Sunday night, full of stars, in between Function and Alessandro Cortini. With a 3 hour slot, I had the chance to dive deep and do what I wanted. It was a really positive experience for me so I thought it would be nice to share the recording with you all. Thanks for listening and hope to see you on a dancefloor soon, Wata.

Originally from Perth where she had and continues to have a huge impact on her local scene with her Deep Doogs' programming and frequent tours, @toniyotzi made the move to Melbourne a few years ago and has since become an icon of that city as well with her Inner Varnika and Golden Plains sets as well as her regular show House of Sports on beloved local radio station Skylab Radio. Toni is undoubtedly one of Australia's greatest DJs and this flawless mix of wide, dynamic, bass and break fuelled heat demonstrates partly why.
