Lowlight is the place between the spotlight and the shadows, between the evening and the Night. That is where our music comes from and where it reverberates. We are all many things week to week, day to day, minute to minute and it is those changes, those different faces that lend color, tone, melody and rhythm to our lives. Our music is rooted in the blues. Gospel, soul, rock, country, jazz are all ancestors of the same song, and it's a blues.

New Move is an independent American classic pop quintet from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2012 by producer & songwriter Jesse Bettis. Over the years New Move’s compelling live show has brought them to the forefront of Portland’s music scene. The band's work blends elements of dark doo-wop, glam, psychedelia and R&B. And they are known for infusing their pop sound with a distinct modern sensibility.
