	Matthew Paul is a formally trained Jazz Drummer who does not work well with others. After an encounter with the booming dance scene in the late 90's, he discovered a new way to express and share his creativity without the need of other musicians. Frustrated with his band mates, he replaced them with machines and began DJing and writing dance music. 
	After over a decade of honing his craft and some life changing experiences, he decided to focus all of his energy into his studio work. Using a mixture of live instrumentation, outboard gear, and software, Matthew prides himself in creating 100% musically organic tracks that are sure to tantalize the most discerning of dance floors. He believes that humanity is all about connection, and what better way is there to connect with others than with music through dance? Through his music, Matthew not only hopes to connect with his listeners, but to help them create a memory that will last a lifetime.
	Matthew draws from a wide array of influences, notably; Mother Earth and her vast Oceans, Humanity, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coletrane, George Clinton, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Prince, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green, Isaac Hayes, Led Zepplin, King Crimson, Primus, Duran Duran, New Order, Depeche Mode, Lionel Ritchie, Claude Debussy, The Notorious B.I.G., Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Frankie Knuckles, A Guy Called Gerald, Daft Punk, Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega, Doc Martin, Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, and Mark Farina.
