Growing up in Jutland and digging his way through graffiti and skate movie soundtracks, Kristian Andersen has since an early age been invested in underground music, culture and communities. For more than a decade Kristian Andersen has been a key figure in the Copenhagen scene, playing, organising and promoting a wide range of electronic music. From the hard tek influenced Lost 2 Reality party series and the DIY psytrance festival SEISMO, to cutesy bar gigs, Kristian Andersen wears many hats. 

This mix is 100 minutes of hypnotising, fun and happy tunes inspired by a set he played earlier this year at the Strøm Festival at the rooftop sound system party at ALICE.

I’ve long been drawn to the deep, organic and electrifying techno of Japan–inextricably linked to open-air gatherings deep in the forest–so it was very special to play this set in the mystical woods of Nagano’s mountains.

I played after Japanese wizard OCCA @oooccaaa, from 11.30PM-2AM ~ descending into the night and far beyond ✧.*｡⋆

Honestly, there's no better way to pass a day than listening to all of Isabel's mixes in a row, so begin with this one and then work backwards for a sonic exploration like no other.

The recording of my recent set at @thelotradio ❄️🦋🌀

For this set I wanted to dive into the realms of lucid dreaming, halftime~trippy~swirly~music for late night driving and moonlit astral travel ~ 

Whilst playing this set it started snowing heavily, and when I stepped outside after the show there was 10cm of snow on the ground! So this mix is also a soundtrack for the soft-coldness of nighttime snowfall 🌙
