When I wrote this I was listening to dudes like Yussef Dayes, Nate Smith, Takuya Kuroda, and Xploding Plastix. I loved their hectic, complex jazz drum beats. I used Andreas Klein's samples up on Converse Sample Library to draw in the drum track and played the rest myself
