We celebrate another great addition to our ever growing Structure family

As a researcher of percussive ritual music from ancient communities in Sri Lanka, it comes as no surprise that Vindya identifies with the vastly repetitive, rhythm-focussed and hypnotic techno sound. Prior to carving out a name for herself across London and Manchester’s techno parties, Vindyatrained as a classical composer, a practice she has continued while travelling through mainland Europe and moving to Manchester. Her early years as an electronic artist saw her filling iconic dancefloors across the continent, including FOLD, Printworks, The Beams, The DBA, Fuchs and Harry Klein, with recent sets paying homage to her Dutch-born roots. Having sculpted this double life, intertwining these acoustic and electronic worlds is Vindya’s next venture, while continuing to bring her uplifting and relentless groove to festivals, clubs and her birth country this summer.
